Esther Heinzman Bouquet

Bouquet of exclusive variety Esther Heinzman named for Dale’s mom

WE BEGIN THE HARVEST WITH THE EARLIEST VARIETIES EARLY IN MAY AND WE FINISH WITH THE LATEST VARIETIES VERY LATE IN JUNE. Harvest dates can vary a week or more depending on the season.

Some of the varieties we grow are not available commercially elsewhere and are produced in limited quantities – sometimes just a few boxes of each variety. Usually we will have other similar or complimentary varieties that will meet special needs.

By planning purchases to coordinate with anticipated needs most varieties may have several weeks of availability. Depending on the weather we will be picking many varieties over about a week. Some yellow varieties have an even longer picking period – sometimes up to almost 3 weeks. Finally, proper storage can extend the range when most varieties will be available by several weeks.
